For all who are looking for an exciting experience, these activities are an excellent way to face the Spanish heat this summer while enjoying the refreshing mediterranean sea. These watersports are all a ton of fun, accommodating to adrenaline junkies as well as the relaxing travelers out there.

Parasailing Experience

Also known as Parakiting, parasailing involves being towed behind a boat while attached to ‘canopy wings’, reminiscent of a parachute. This activity is wildly popular on the Barcelona beaches, due to their incredibly scenic views. It is worth mentioning that the rider does not need any experience, as your flight will be controlled by the boat alone! You are able to ride by yourself or with up to 3 other people. If this doesn’t interest you, you are also able to watch the ride from the boat itself.

The price for parasailing for 1 person is 90€, and the price is reduced by 10€ per additional person (up until 4 people for 60€). The option of watching from the boat is 20€. The price is also inclusive of safety gear, such as helmets and harnesses.There is also a package deal available, including one trip of parasailing as well as a Segway tour. The price of this is 124€ for 1 person, 114€ for 2 people, 104€ for 3 people and 84€ for 4 people.

Action Sports

If you are looking for activities providing an adrenaline boost, this is the section for you! There are several action water sports that you can do in Barcelona such as Jet Ski for instance. The Jet Ski is one most fun activities but also it needs to be handled with care since its goes to 90 km/h. The price for the Jet Ski for 1 to 2 persons starts from 65 euros for 20 mins and goes up to 300 euros for 120 minutes.

Another activity that is rich in thrills is Flyboard. A Flyboard rider stands on a board connected by a long hose to a watercraft. Water is forced under pressure to a pair of boots with jet nozzles underneath which provide thrust for the rider to fly up to 15 m (49 ft) in the air or to dive headlong into the water down to 2.5m.  You can enjoy this activity with a pack of 1 to 6 person. The price for 1 person is 85 € (15 min); for 1 to 2 person, the price is at 160 € (30 min); For a group of 1 to 4, you will have to pay 300 € (60 min) and for a group up to 6 people the price is at 450€ (90 min).

Last but not least, you also have the possibility to do some Hoverboard. With it, you can surf on the Barcelona’s sea without needing waves as this innovative nautical activity uses the power of your jet ski’s monitor to propel the board in the air. The hoverboard has the same package price at the fly board. You also have the possibility to enjoy several activities with a package deal of Flyboard plus Jetski for 1 person for 140€ and 105€ for 2 persons!

Fun Water Sports

For a more relaxed atmosphere, here are the fun toys that are available to you. The Fly Fish is a large lilo, towed to a speed boat. It has handles on board and expects to get some airtime! The price is 30€ per person for 15 mins or 400€ in total for 60 minutes. Furthermore, this cost includes safety features provided such as a helmet and life jacket.

The banana boat is a large tubular boat also towed to a speed boat. The 10-man boat is thrown into waves with the passengers trying their hardest not to fall off. Wear your swimming costume, as you will be in the ocean at some point. The price per person is 20€ for 15 mins or 400€ in total for 60 minutes.

The crazy sofa is like the banana boat as you are towed to a jet ski and thrown around the ocean. There are no handles, and no way to stop yourself from falling barring the backrest on the inflatable sofa. Be sure to book this with your friends if you enjoy a swim! It is 30€ per person for a 15-minute ride or 400€ (8 people maximum) in total for 60 minutes.

Finally, you can enjoy riding in the machine that drives these activities: a speed boat. This is a superb way for you to view the busiest harbor in Spain whilst enjoying the relaxing sea. The price, inclusive of a skipper and fuel, is 225€ for one hour and an extra 200€ per additional hour. The maximum occupancy of the boat is 11 passengers (skipper not included).
