#1 Joan Miró library in the Eixample quarter

One of the most beautiful libraries in Barcelona. You can feel there the soul of Joan Miro while studying for your exams. His main idea for the interior design of the library was to make it look-a-like a ship that is sailing in the seas. The library is super cozy and familiar, you can find there a lot of amazing books and also hundreds of publications about Joan Miro.

#2 Arús public library in the Eixample quarter

Very modern, well-designed Biblioteca, hidden around the streets of Eixample. It is inspired by New York style, so you can find there even a replica of the Statue of liberty! All the project of the building was made by Catalan artist Manuel Fuxa, who was inspired by American culture. Biblioteca is big, so you can find there a lot of places to study and just lose yourself around many interesting books. Founded in 1895, now have in its collections more than 20,000 books.

#3 Francesca Bonnemaison library in Ciutat Vella

Library with the sould, very old and symbolic. One of the first libraries in Europe that was created only for women in Europe. Biblioteca is specializing in womens literature, but of course you can find there also a lot of diffrent themes.

#4 Biblioteca de Catalunya in Barcelona 

Hidden around the streets of El Raval, we can find the beautiful building of Biblioteca de Catalunya, which has hundreds of years old. The building is an architectural treasure of Barcelona, with so many most important books from Catalonian culture.

#5 Biblioteca Jaume Fuster in Barcelona 

If you like modern and new libraries, this is a place for you. The library is placed around a very popular, tourist area in Gracia. The place is well-known by tourists because this Biblioteca is specializing in tourist content. Opened in 2005 and was designed by the architect Josep Llinas.
